Sport Utility Trike

To help slow the climate breakdown, we must reduce driving oversized cars. So we need new, efficient vehicles to carry our shopping. Sport Utility Trikes are smaller, cheaper and safer than cargo bikes. They also fold away to store securely in flats. Our unique hub steering design can be supplied as a conversion kit or the folding cargo trike.

Our sport utility trike has been designed for big city life. Bikes can be as fast as cars and much easier to park. Electric scooters are great if you're young but dangerous for the old or over bumpy streets. The SUT is very stable, even with 40kg of luggage, enough for everyone to enjoy their shopping and avoid the queues. Then ride straight to their door, fold the trike and store it under the stairs.

Bike manufacturers can purchase our patented conversion kit to bolt onto their existing bike frames. Frames should only require limited modifications to provide a full, folding SUTrike.

Experienced engineers can purchase some of the custom parts required to make their own versions, although we can only advise on the steering and mounting possibilities.

Hub steering is well proven on cars and recumbent trikes. It provides safe, high-speed, straight-line stability.

Riders lean into the bends but the front wheels don't. This gives great cornering and a large luggage space.

The low frame makes it light, strong, and stable, even with heavy cargo.

The trike folds for small storage and locks securely with no need for a heavy lock.
